Biography
Lauren Martin represents individuals and companies in criminal matters and civil litigation in state and federal courts. She has experience representing clients in a range of industries in high-stakes disputes in all stages of a case—from pre-litigation advice through trial and appeal.
Prior to joining the firm, Lauren served as a law clerk to the Honorable Gonzalo P. Curiel on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California and the Honorable Jill Pryor on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. She was previously an associate at two global law firms.
While at Stanford Law School, Lauren was a member of the Supreme Court Litigation Clinic, where she helped represent the criminal defendant petitioners in Hemphill v. New York and Lange v. California in their successful constitutional challenges to their state convictions. She also served as a teaching assistant in Evidence and earned class prizes in Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure.
