Congratulations to partner Effie Blassberger who was recently elected as a vice president of the New York University Law Alumni Association (LAA). Blassberger, a 2011 graduate of NYU Law School, was most recently a Director of the LAA and will initially serve a one-year term in her new role.

Established in 1835, NYU Law was the first law school established in New York City and is the oldest surviving law school in New York State.

Notable NYU Law Alumni include Mayor Fiorello La Guardia, Mayor Edward Koch, Congressman Hakeem Jeffries, and sportscaster Howard Cosell.
