Clayman Rosenberg Kirshner & Linder LLP is pleased to announce that Thomas Rotko has become the firm’s new managing partner, effective Jan. 1, 2026. He will maintain his active practice representing clients.
Rotko succeeds Brian Linder, who served as the firm’s managing partner since 2006. He will oversee all aspects of CRKL’s operations. Linder will continue serving as a member of the management committee and as the firm’s general counsel, as well as representing clients.
“I’m honored to be taking over the role of managing partner,” Rotko said. “Brian did a tremendous job in this position for 20 years. I look forward to building on that success while ensuring our clients receive exceptional service and our attorneys and professional staff remain energized, collaborative and enthusiastic about the work we do every day.”
Rotko joined CRKL in 2001 and is a member of the firm’s management committee, which will continue. He regularly defends clients in criminal and regulatory matters before federal and state prosecutors, the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, the New York City Department of Investigation, and other regulatory agencies.
“Tom has earned the trust and respect of our clients and colleagues through his practice achievements, leadership and commitment to CRKL,” Linder said. “I’m very proud of what we’ve built together, and I have complete confidence that the firm will continue to strengthen its culture and deliver outstanding results for our clients.”
Before joining the firm, Rotko served as an assistant district attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office. He was assigned to the office’s trial and official corruption units, where he prosecuted cases ranging from violent crime to fraud and public integrity.
