On October 4, 2018, Amy E. Millard was a panelist at a program sponsored by the New York City Bar entitled “Ethical Considerations for Corporate Investigations: Views from All Sides.” This program explored current issues and recent developments relating to ethical duties and responsibilities of lawyers in corporate internal investigations.
In connection with the program, Clayman & Rosenberg partners Amy E. Millard and Wayne Gosnell, along with associate Christina Corcoran, authored an article entitled “Navigating Potential Threats to Privilege in Cross-Border Investigations.” The article includes in-depth discussions about preserving privilege while cooperating with the government during internal investigations, protecting privilege in the face of border searches, and the recent reversal of the ENRC decision in the United Kingdom.
