Partners James Valentino and Ramsey Hinkle recently concluded a successful representation in an employment matter in New York City.
The attorneys represented a female employee who had a verbal dispute with a male colleague who then assaulted her. Both individuals were subsequently terminated. Valentino and Hinkle discovered that the male had previously exhibited violent tendencies towards females in the workplace for which he was not disciplined. Arguing that the employer was liable for negligence and gender discrimination, Valentino and Hinkle secured a significant pre-litigation settlement for their client.
