Gosnell and Hinkle Secure Non-Incarceratory Sentence for Client Charged in Multi-Million Dollar Drug Conspiracy

Partners Wayne Gosnell and Ramsey Hinkle recently secured a non-incarceratory sentence for an individual charged with participating in a multi-million-dollar drug conspiracy. The government alleged that the conspiracy involved transporting marijuana and money across the United States by various methods, exposing the individual to a potential sentence of up to 20 years imprisonment.

Wayne and Ramsey successfully convinced the government to allow the individual to plead guilty to using a cell phone in furtherance of a conspiracy to distribute marijuana. Then, although the individual still faced years of imprisonment, the team successfully persuaded the court to impose a sentence of three years’ probation and a $10,000 fine.
