Isabelle Kirshner Named a Finalist for Law.com New York Legal Awards Best Mentors Category

Clayman Rosenberg Kirshner & Linder LLP partner Isabelle Kirshner has been named a finalist for the 2026 Law.com New York Legal Awards in the Best Mentors category. This award honors attorneys who have demonstrated an ongoing commitment to guiding, training and uplifting younger professionals in the legal industry.

Kirshner is known for taking a personal interest in younger lawyers, whether that means offering candid, experience-based career advice, helping someone rebuild confidence after a setback or simply making them feel they belong in the profession. Her mentorship extends well beyond any formal relationship, with Kirshner staying invested in colleagues’ careers for years and supporting opportunities for them to build visibility and connections in a field that can be difficult to break into.

“I have been fortunate to benefit from Isabelle’s mentorship, but I am only one of many lawyers whose careers she has shaped,” said partner Effie Blassberger, who nominated Kirshner for the award. “She has spent decades mentoring younger attorneys with candor, humor, warmth and wisdom, and in a profession that can feel competitive and isolating, she has created community.”

Kirshner is widely regarded as one of New York’s premier white-collar defense attorneys. For more than four decades, she has represented individuals and entities in high-stakes criminal matters, securing acquittals in both state and federal court and guiding clients through some of their most challenging legal situations.
